Kayserburg International Youth Piano Competition 2023 – Celebrating 40 Years of Excellence!

The Kayserburg International Youth Piano Competition 2023 marks the competition’s 40th Anniversary celebration with the aim to bring together aspiring piano players of all nationalities in a celebration of music and passion amid global hardships, and to spread joy and hope into the world.

Held every two years since 1983, the Pearl River · Kayserburg International Youth Piano Competition is currently the world’s largest with over 100,000 participants. Pearl River launched the Kayserburg International Youth Piano Competition to support ongoing development in performing arts in general, and to promote music education in the new era. Their goal is to encourage learning, enthusiasm, and support a new generation of young artists.

This competition is open to all Piano Students and Enthusiasts of all ages* regardless of origin.

The following Categories feature in this year’s competition for the Singapore & Southeast Asia Region:

OPEN PROFESSIONAL17–32 years old Born between 1st October 1990 – 30th September 2006	STUDENT13–16 years old Born between 1st October 2006 – 30 September 2010	JUNIOR12 years old and below Born on & after year 2011
EXAM CATEGORY (From Grade 1 – Grade 8)ABRSM/Rockschool/RSL Classical Piano/Any accredited music examination board syllabus**No Age Limit

Grand winners from Open & Student categories will advance to the Grand Finals in Guangzhou, China.

Singapore’s own Estelle Goh clinched the Bronze Award for the Student Category back in 2021 at the International Grand Finals.
