Energy was high and talent truly shined through at the 2023 Kayserburg International Youth Piano Competition Qualifying Round held at the Alexandra Retail Centre Atrium over 5th to 13th August 2023.
Participants for the Junior and Exam categories presented their skills to the panel of judges, and a healthy crowd of spectators – truly a great performing experience for many contestants having their first time competition endeavor.
The Kayserburg International Youth Piano Competition 2023 marks the competition’s 40th Anniversary celebration with the aim to bring together aspiring piano players of all nationalities in a celebration of music and passion amid global hardships, and to spread joy and hope into the world.
Held every two years since 1983, the Pearl River · Kayserburg International Youth Piano Competition is currently the world’s largest with over 100,000 participants. Pearl River launched the Kayserburg International Youth Piano Competition to support ongoing development in performing arts in general, and to promote music education in the new era. Their goal is to encourage learning, enthusiasm, and support a new generation of young artists.
